This is a humanistic book, even if it does not encounter all the human aspects. The author discussed people’s situations, mentality, and customs, and showed its personages as human that can exist in any time or place. He phrased all this in an easy style with good eloquence full of life, as he is one of the greatest men of letters known in the Arabic language.
