Naura Hayden
Naura Hayden, born Norah Helene Hayden on September 29, 1930, in Los Angeles, California, was an American actress, author, and radio host best known for her versatility and reinvention throughout her career. She began as a model in her late teens under the name Helene Hayden before transitioning into acting, appearing in films and television under the name Nora Hayden. Her most notable role came in the 1959 science fiction cult classic The Angry Red Planet, where she starred as Dr. Iris Ryan. In addition to acting, Hayden explored music and theater, later establishing herself in New York City, where she also managed restaurants and hosted radio shows. In the 1980s and 1990s, she gained renewed fame as an author with her bestselling book How to Satisfy a Woman Every Time… and Have Her Beg for More!, a candid and humorous guide on intimacy and relationships that sold over half a million copies. Known for her wit, charisma, and unapologetic approach to topics often considered taboo at the time, Hayden became a cultural figure who bridged entertainment, sexuality, and self-help with confidence and humor.
